An Israeli woman died in a Palestinian rocket salvo from the Gaza Strip. Hamas and Islamic Jihad claimed joint responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on the southern border town of Sderot, which killed a 58-year-old woman and wounded several people. Among those hurt was a secret service agent guarding the family home of Defense Minister Amir Peretz.
