Max Stern, a 55 year old cigar dealer, who was hit by a stray bullet while he was passing near the Buelow Square, where the Communist headquarters are situated, during the fighting after the announcement of the Referendum result, has died today of his in-juries. Stern was entirely unconnected with the demonstrations, and was in the neighbourhood on purely private business.
