Many persons were injured and several score were arrested in a clash with the police which occurred here yesterday when several thousand members of the anti-Semitic National Socialist Party of Berlin arranged what was termed a “propaganda march.”
The demonstration was arranged on the occasion of the Prussian government’s decision to lift the prohibition on the public appearances of Adolf Hitler, notorious anti-Semitic leader. The prohibition had been in effect since 1923. Prior to the demonstration a huge mass meeting was held in the Palace of Sports, where the anti-Semitic leaders, Count Reventlow, Kube, and Goebbels, delivered addresses.
