An anti-Semitic flyer was passed out at the 28th annual Women’s Patriotic Conference on National Defense yesterday at the conclusion of a meeting which was addressed by Sen. William F. Knowland, Senate Majority Leader.
The flyer noted the “striking similarity” in design between the Soviet flag and the United Nations flag and in color between the UN and the Israeli flag, which was referred to as the “Jew Palestine flag.” The leaflet then declared that “our Korean heroes are being asked to die under the Jew colors of a flag copied from the Russian Arms Banner.” The leaflets, which were distributed by a representative of the conference, had been issued by the Christian Nationalist Crusade.
