The tide of anti-Semitism seems to be rising in the Republic of Turkey, as symptoms of an increased anti-Jewish propaganda are apparent.
The Turkish daily newspaper “Hareket” (Progress) started the publication yesterday of the long-disproven “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” The newspaper promises its readers to publish the protocols in book form. The editor of the paper is a member of parliament and belongs to the Kernal Pasha party.
Attacks on the Jews are made continually in the Turkish press. The change in sentiment has been noted since the recent fall of the Turkish currency.
