Several hundred guests representing all elements of Israel’s population attended a garden party at Rehobot given by President Chaim Weizmann on the occasion of the third anniversary of Israel’s independence.
Among those present were members of the diplomatic corps, of the Cabinet, and of Parliament, high ranking army officers, representatives of various Arab communities, dignitaries of different churches and noted foreign visitors.
