A five-nation committee of the Arab League has forwarded to the various Arab heads of states recommendations for a reply to a message sent by United States President John F. Kennedy to the King of Saudi Arabia concerning the “Palestine question,” it was reported here today from Cairo. Abdel Khalik Hassouna, secretary-general of the Arab League and chairman of the committee, declined to disclose whether President Kennedy had offered specific proposals on the subject.
