The Austrian Cabinet decided today to invite to discussions here all groups interested in the legislative measures designed to provide government aid to Austrians who suffered under the Nazi regime. The talks will open May 15.

Informed sources have revealed that negotiations will be held separately between the Austrian Government and each of the interested groups. It is understood that the most important talks will take place between the government and the Jewish Claims Committee, representing world Jewish organizations and Austrian Jewry.

It is also understood that the decision on who will be invited has been left to the Chancellor. It is believed that beside the Jewish Claims Committee, an organization representing Jews who turned Christian, representatives of the Catholic and Protestant Churches in Austria, and a New York group of former Austrian Jews will be invited.

It was learned that the Peoples Party and the Social Democratic Party, which together comprise the Austrian coalition government, have reached agreement on a number of points over which they have been divided in the past. It is understood that the Socialists have won acceptance of their demand that compensation and relief measures for political victims of the Nazis be extended to victims of political persecution from 1933 on. Between 1933 and 1938 when the Anschluss took place, the Austrian Socialists were persecuted by the Dolfuss and Schuschnig administrations, linear ancestors of the Catholic peoples Party.
