It was learned today that B. Charney Vladeck, general manager of the Jewish Daily Forward of New York, and chairman of the Jewish Labor Committee, had a lengthy conversation with Premier Leon Blum.
Mr. Vladeck refused to disclose the nature of the talk, but it is assumed they discussed, among other things, the Jewish situation in Poland and Rumania, French formal allies.
Jewish circles note that the conversation occurred during Polish Generalissimo Rydz-Smigly’s stay in France.
