Baiting of Jews continued throughout the day yesterday in Lemberg and Warsaw with new Jewish and non-Jewish victims.
In Warsaw the Polytechnic Institute was closed by the rector after a non-Jewish Professor, Pruszanski, had been injured for protecting Jewish students.
The surcharged atmosphere prevented the re-opening of the University and the Agriculture College.
In Lemberg, rioting held forth after a morning memorial service for Jan Grotowski, the Polish student killed. Students congregated in the vicinity of the University and fell upon Jews who came within reach. Serious injuries were sustained by an attorney, Griner,
