Baltimore’s Jewry will unite in paying homage to the memory of Chaim Nachman Bialik, characterized as the outstanding Hebrew poet in the last 900 years, at services to be held in the Chizuk Amuno Synagogue, Wednesday evening, August 1.
Eulogies will be delivered and Abraham Goldberg, a New York Jewish journalist, has been invited to make the principal address.
Mr. Bialik toured the United States in 1926 and came to this city May #, where a mass meeting in his honor was attended by 1,000 persons.
