After inspecting a guard — of honor lined up in the floodlit airport, Mr. Ben-Gurion read a prepared statement declaring that the results of his visit were greater than he anticipated. He emphasized that his visit had tightened the friendly relations and understanding between the five Scandinavian countries and Israel.
