Despite the Democratic sweep in this overwhelmingly Republican state, Gilbert Bettman was reelected attorney-general of Ohio on the Republican ticket. The rest of his ticket went down to defeat. In Cincinnati, Judge Alfred Mack was renamed to the common pleas court, Judge Willis D. Gradison was elected to the state assembly, Edgar Friend-lander was chosen county treasurer and Samuel Ach county commissioner. The latter are all Republicans.

In Cleveland Joseph Ackerman (R) was reelected to the state assembly.
