B’klyn Council to Mobilize New Members

Forty teas will be held simultaneously this afternoon between three and five o’clock by the Brooklyn section of the National Council of Jewish Women with the object of acquainting members of the Jewish community, who do not belong to the council, with the history and objectives of the organization.

A feature of the program will be a radio program at all fortyteas over Station WMCA, at 3:45 p. m. Carmella Ponselle of the Metropolitan Opera Company will open the program with “The Star Spangled Banner.” Mrs. Mary G. Schonberg, executive secretary of the National Council of Jewish Women, will discuss the council’s work.

Mrs. Joseph M. Schaap, vice-president of the Brooklyn section of the council, is in charge of arrangements. Assisting her are Mrs. Mortimer Brenner, president of the section, and Mrs. Benjamin Spitzer.
