Jacob Blaustein, president of the American Jewish Committee, conferred for a half-hour today with President Truman during a personal call at the White House.
Mr. Blaustein stated that in addition to a domestic issue, he discussed several foreign situations with the President such as future relationships between the U.S. and Germany, and some matters in the Middle East, including the essentiality, in Mr. Blaustein’s opinion, of a proper defense pact there.
