An appeal to aid the Red Cross in flood relief, by collecting money and in other ways, has been issued by B’nai B’rith’s District Grand Lodge No. 1, covering 67 lodges and 27 ladies’ auxiliaries in New York, New England and Eastern Canada, it was announced today.
Wilfred B. Feiga, president of the grand lodge, said that while none of the communities in the district covered by the grand lodge had been affected by the flood, the help of the B’nai B’rith members was needed.
