Improvement in intergroup relations and a reduction in the number of anti-Semitic incidents during the past year were reported to the tenth annual meeting of the Boston Jewish Community Council here.
The council was informed that the incident case load of anti-Semitic incidents had taken a downward turn in the past year, although there had been an epidemic of anti-Semitic telephone calls in Milton and an unfrocked priest, Leonard Feeney, had started a series of anti-Jewish tirades on Boston Common.
The session adopted resolutions condemning the Rumanian trials of Jews and urging enactment of the Lehman Bill to replace the McCarran-Walter Immigration Law.
