A dedication dinner celebrating completion of a Palestine forest bearing the name of Temple Kehillath Israel of Brookline, was held at the Temple last night.
Judge Morris Rothenberg of New York, president of the Jewish National Fund, who was the principal speaker, landed the Jewish community of New England for its role in the land reclamation and reforestation program of the JNF in Palestine. “Today, in the midst of a severe political crisis, we are setting new saplings into the soil of Jewish Palestine as symbols of our unshakable faith in the triumph of a just cause,” he said.
