Both houses of the U.S. Congress passed an emergency supplemental funding bill that included language forbidding spending to the Palestinian Authority. The $94.5 billion bill, which will provide assistance to Gulf Coast hurricane victims and fund the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, passed the U.S. Senate on Thursday, and the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this week.
