Brazilian Jews and Christians will celebrate the 40th anniversary of a Vatican document that led to better relations with the Jews. “Nostra Aetate” will be celebrated with a free choir concert Sunday at a Sao Paulo theater, sponsored by the Brazilian National Conference of Bishops and Brazil’s largest Jewish congregation, the 2,000-family Congregacao Israelita Paulista. Jewish and Catholic officials from Brazil and the Vatican are expected to attend.
