The professional group of Brooklyn Hadassah held a meeting at the home of Mrs. F. Taran, 1015 Washington Avenue, recently. All officers and activity chairmen appointed for the year are as follows: chairman, Mrs. F. Taran; recording secretary, Miss Stella Kaufman; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Wald; treasurer, Miss Betty Seldin; educational chairman, Mrs. Wald; infant welfare, Mrs. F. Taran; Jewish National Fund, Mrs. F. Davis. Mrs. A. Slomka spoke.
Dr. Charles Dumay was guest speker at a meeting of the Williamsburg Group, held at the home of Mrs. B. Kramerson, 552 Madison St. The subject of his address was mental hygiene. A bridge will be given by Mrs. Max Levy of 150 South 9th Street on January 14.
A meeting of the Deborah Group was held recently at the home of Mrs. B. Gleichenhaus, 372 Brooklyn Avenue. After the bussiness of the day was over, a discussion on Jakob Wassermann was led by Mrs. I. Pockrose and L. Shapiro.
The East New York ladies are all working in preparation for a theatre party to be held on Monday. January 15th at the Rolland Theatre.
The Hadassah Buds of the Bedford Section, Group 1, met in the home of Mrs. L. J. Liebow, 421 Crown Street, on Sunday afternoon, January 7th. They had as their visitors several prospective members of groups that are expected to form shortly.
