Bruno Wassertheil, a longtime chief radio correspondent for CBS News in Israel, died Wednesday of cancer in Palo Alto, Calif. He was 68. Wassertheil made nearly 20,000 network broadcasts during his tenure in Israel, which covered both the 1973 Yom Kippur War and the 1982 Lebanon War.
