The Central Consistory of Bulgarian Jews sent a letter today to Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain protesting against the recommendation for partitioning Palestine reported to be contained in the findings of the British Royal Commission on Palestine.
The letter appealed to “the noble British people” to “fulfill the mission assigned to it by destiny” in aiding the reconstitution of a Jewish homeland in the Holy Land.
