The Jewish Immigrant Aid Society of Canada will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, May 18, with the participation of delegates from all over the Dominion. The gathering will be addressed by Lyon Cohen, honorary president of the organization, and chairman of the Canadian Hicem.
The Jewish members of the Federal Parliament, S. W. Jacobs and A. A. Heaps, will explain the new immigration regulations of the Canadian government especially in relation to the project which gives the provinces the power to decide the number and sort of immigrants they desire, and the effects this law will, eventually, have on Jewish immigration in Canada.
