The City Council of Czernowitz, the capital of Bukovina, has decided on the motion of one of the members, Dr. Siegfried Rosenzweig, to rename two of the streets in the city, one to bear the name of Dr. Ch. Weizmann, the President of the Zionist Organisation, and the other to bear the name of Dr. Jacob Pistiner, the Bundist leader in Roumania, who represented Czernowitz for many years in the Roumanian parliament and who died suddenly last year.
