Dr. Samuel Rodrigues Pereira, Chief Rabbi of the Amsterdam Sephardic community, made it clear today that he saw no reason why the excommunication decree passed on Baruch Spinoza, the famed Dutch Jewish philosopher, 300 years ago, should be revoked.
