A college to train young Jews from North Africa for the rabbinate in their communities was inaugurated today at Ramagate by Israel Ambassador Eliahu Elath. The college, established in the former home of the late Sir Moses Montefiore and named for Lady Montefiore, is jointly sponsored by the Jewish Agency’s Torah Education Department and the Sephardic community.
