The nineteenth annual conference of the Zionist Federation of Uruguay concluded here last night after adopting resolutions expressing its support of the demand for immediate creation of Palestine as a Jewish commonwealth and urging that the Jewish Brigade participate in the occupation of Germany.
The conference, which was opened at a large public meeting on Sunday, was addressed by Rabbi Joseph Lookstein, of New York, who is in South America on a mission for the Joint Distribution Committee, and by Argentine and Uruguyan Jewish leaders.
