The first woman trustee in the 112-year history of Congregation Emanu-El of New York, leading Reform congregation, was elected tonight.
She is Mrs. Richard Levisohn, Jr. , wife of a New York industrialist and daughter of George Frankenthalter, former New York judge. Her family and that of her husband have been identified with the congregation for several generations.
