Mrs. Sydney M. Cone of Pikesville, Md., has been named chairman of the committee on findings for the fourteenth triennial convention of the National Council of Jewish Women, Mrs. Arthur Brin, president of the council, announced yesterday.
Mrs. Brin also announced the appointment of Mrs. Charles Reichenbaum of Milwaukee as chairman of the committee on state and interstate conferences; Mrs. Arthur Goldsmith of Portland, Ore., as head of the committee on rules, and Mrs. Israel Bernstein of Portland, Maine, to head the committee on resolutions.
The council, now in its forty-second year, will hold its convention in New Orleans from March 10 to 15. The organization has a membership of 40,000 in more than 200 cities in the United States.
Among the noted speakers who will address the convention are Roark Bradford, Dorothy Dix, Dr. Everett R. Clinchy, Dr. A. L. Sachar and Professor Eduard C. Lindeman.
