Rachel Wischnitzer-Bernstein, former curator of the Jewish Museum in Berlin, has started a course on Jewish art history which, in 12 sessions, will give a survey of the evolution of Jewish art from the old oriental period to the modern times. As there is no chair for the study of Jewish art, this course is the first attempt to represent the developments of Jewish art. The course, illustrated with lantern slides, is being held on Thursdays, 8:15 to 9:10 P.M. at the Adult School of Jewish Studies at the 92nd Street Y.M.H.A.
