The court of Appeals at Cologne confirmed the sentence of the lower court imposing a fine 1,000 marks upon Herr Ley, member of the Reichstag representing the anti-Semitic national socialist party. The charge against Herr Ley was the publication in his newspaper. “Westdeutscher Beobachter” of articles and pictures accusing Jews of ritual murder.
