(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
The London Daily Express continued yesterday its anti-Zionist campaign by publishing another article advocating that Great Britain relinquish the Palestine mandate.
The article, written in a sensational tone, is full of nonsensical claims. For instance, the paper alleges that its previous article caused the crisis in Palestine and resulted in the convocation of the Zionist Congress in Basle to discuss the situation. The purpose of the Congress, the paper says, is to consider the proposition to divide Palestine into two parts which would assure a Jewish majority in certain parts of the country.
The article is full of misinformation concerning internal Zionist affairs and plans. It states that the Jewish Agency has proved a failure and this will result in Great Britain’s assumption of heavy responsibilties.
