Daniel Alexander, Prominent Jewish Worker, Dies at 47

Funeral services were held here for Daniel Alexander, prominent in civic and communal affairs who died suddenly while on a business trip in Butte, Montana, last week.

Mr. Alexander was forty seven years old. He was active in the work of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, of whose National Council he was a member, and a member of the American Jewish Committee.

Mr. Alexander was born in Ogen, Utah, and educated at the University of Utah and at the University of Pennsylvania where he received his law degree.

He was formerly president of District No. 4 of the B’nai Brith. He was a member of the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences.
