An American section of the “B” group of General Zionists which favors, for the purposes of the Zionist Congress elections, organization of a world bloc of all Zionist groups that disagree with the policies of the World Zionist Executive, has been established here, it was announced yesterday.
At a meeting called by Isaac Allen, Jacob de Haas, and Rabbi Louis I. Newman on Monday evening, of representatives of various Z.O.A. groups, a program expressing the ideology of the “B” group, was adopted and will be issued in a few days. Steps were taken to enlarge the group and carry the propaganda into Z.O.A. districts.
3 RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED
The conference, dealing with immediate Zionist policies, adopted the following resolutions:
1.—The “B” group favors organization of a world bloc for the ensuing Zionist Congress Elections of all parties and groups approving maximum Zionist politics applicable to both sides of the Jordan.
2.—It urges the convening of a round-table conference of the leaders of all Zionist parties for the ironing out of differences, to facilitate the holding of a harmonious and united Zionist Congress.
3.—The meeting expressed its strong opposition to any proposal for changing the text of the shekel or the adoption of any measure which would prevent any Zionist group or party from attending the Congress or accepting its supremacy.
