A big memorial service for Stanislaw Waclawski, the National Democratic student who was killed during the anti-Jewish rioting in Vilna University in November, has been held in Grodno, where anti-Jewish manifestations have occurred in the last few days, since large numbers of students have come to their homes there for the Christmas holidays.
The local authorities has prohibited the service, but it was held in defiance of the prohibition. The Church was crowded with worshippers, who listened to addresses glorifying the martyr who had been slain by the Jews, as the speakers bescided> Waclawski.
