Kurt Peiser, executive director of the Jewish Welfare Federation of Detroit, announces that the $175,000 Allied Jewish Campaign will officially open with a dinner on the evening of May 27 at Hotel Statler Judge Joseph M. Proskauer of New York will be the principal speaker.
Eight local agencies and 17 national and international movements are included in the campaign quota. The principal beneficiary will be the German-Jewish relief fund.
