Displaced Jews throughout the American sons of G### today held mass meetings to protest their plight and to call on the Moscow Conference of Foreign Ministers to take effective action to remove their grievances. The meetings were called by the Jewish Central Committee of Germany, which design## the day a “protest holiday.”
The Jews in nearly 100 communities, camps and DP centers were asked to ratify a four-point resolution drawn up by the Central Committee. It urged: 1. Liquidation of the displaced camps for Jews. 2. Placing the Jews under international protection rather than making them dependent upon the German economy. 3. Opening the gates of Palestine. 4. Restitution of Jewish property and reparations and indemification. A Central Committee spokesman declared that the resolution was “in no way a critician of the American Army.”
In Munich some 6,000 displaced Jews met and unanimously ratified the resolution. Speakers of all political parties agreed that ## to Palestine the only possible solution for the Jews in Germany. Col. George Seithere, Liason officer attached to the Central Committee, and a number of other Allies persecuted.
