Funeral services were held here today for Dr. Asher A. Goldin, Yiddish and Hebrew author, who died yesterday, at the age of 74. He was born in Russia and came to this country in 1913. He received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in 1921. He contributed to well-known Jewish publications in Europe and in the U.S.A. and was also literary editor of “Harofeh Ha’Ivri, ” a unique medical quarterly published in both Hebrew and English.
