Dr. Chaim Weizmann Sails for United States on Aquitania, Due Here on Mar. 20

Dr. Chaim Weizman, president of the World Zionist Organization, sails tomorrow on the Aquitania for the United States.

When interviewed by the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Dr. Weizmann declared that he will stay in the United States two months, as he wishes to return in time to participate in the meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee which will be held in June either in Berlin or in Jerusalem.

Dr. Weizmann related that prtor to his departure he had a conference with Sir Alfred Mond who has just returned from Palestine. Sir Alfred told him that the unemployment in the country will disappear within two months. During his visit. Sir Alfred invested in Palestine enterprises to the amount of $90,000. Sir Alfred also gave Dr. Weizmann $50,000 and pormised an additional $100,000 for a Zionist institution whose name he was not desirous to disclose. Sir Alfred is now drafting a report of his Palestine survey which he will soon submit.

In commenting upon the general situation, Dr. Weizmann expressed his optimism with regard to the Palestine situation and the prospects of the Palestine loan.

A letter from Felix M. Warburg, one of the commissioners of the Jewish agency Palestine Survey Commission, was received by the president of the Zionist Organization, welcoming his trip to America.

In the absence of Dr. Weizmann the conduct of the political work will be in charge of Dr. M. D. Eder. Berthold Feiwel will be in charge of financial affairs, particularly with regard to the negotiations concerning the Zionist loan.

Harry Sacher, member of the Palestine Zionist Executive, is arriving here tomorrow in the interest of the loan.
