Dr. Elias Margolis of New York, one of the national leaders of the United Synagogue of America, will arrive in San Francisco August 1 for a three day conference with Pacific Coast leaders of that organization. A large mass meeting open to the entire Jewish community is being arranged in his honor by Rabbi Elliott M. Burstein, chairman of the Pacific Coast region of the United Synagogue.
The meeting will be held in Temple Beth Israel and is expected to result in definite plans for an extension of United Synagogue activities on the coast.
