Dr. Charles Weiss, noted research professor in bacteriology and immunology, has been appointed director of the clinical and research laboratories of Mount Zion Hospital and has assumed his new duties at once.
He succeeds Dr. Frederick Eberson.
Dr. Weiss is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. He worked with Drs. John A. Kolmer and Alonzo E. Taylor and was a research fellow at Columbia University in 1925. His most recent service was as assistant professor of applied bacteriology and immunology at Washington University, St. Louis.
