The Instituted for Israel and the Middle East of the Dropsie College, Philadelphia, has announced for the academic year 1957-58, fellowships of $1,000 and $600 each, available to qualified students who wish to specialize in Middle Eastern studies leading to the Ph. D. degree.
The curriculum offered by the Institute includes languages, literature, history, anthropology, sociology, economics and politics of the Middle East. Applications for fellowships should be submitted before April 15, 1957.
