Chancellor Ludwig Erhard met here with Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, for a discussion of problems related to indemnification claims.
Dr. Goldmann, who was accompanied by Dr. Ernst Katzenstein, conference representative in Germany, raised questions in connection with the recently enacted amendment to the West German Restitution Law dealing with victims of Nazi persecution who came from countries behind the Iron Curtain after the October 1953 cutoff date, too late to file their claims.
