Eshkol Due in London Today; Official Program Provides for Formal Talks

Israel’s Prime Minister Levi Eshkol, who will fly here from Tel Aviv tomorrow, will meet other leaders of the British Government in addition to Prime Minister Harold Wilson and Foreign Secretary Michael Stewart, according to the full program of Eshkol activities here, issued today.

Mr. Eshkol, who will hold separate formal talks Thursday and Friday with the Premier and Foreign Secretary, is scheduled also to confer with Deputy Prime Minister George Brown, who is Minister for Economic Affairs; a group of ranking British financial and industrial leaders, who will tender a luncheon in his honor and Sir Alec Douglas-Home, former Prime Minister, and other leaders of the Conservative Party.

The Israeli Premier and Mrs. Eshkol, who will accompany her husband, will be guests of honor at a dinner to be given by Minister of Defense Denis Healey and Mrs. Healey, and will attend the opera as guests of the Healeys. Mr. Eshkol will also meet with the executive committee of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, leaders of the Trade Union Confederation, and the executive of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain.
