In connection with the provisions of the National Autonomy Law in Esthonia, under which the right of autonomy has been accorded to the Jews and the other minorities in the country, the Parliamentary Commission for the Reform of the Penal Code in Esthonia has decided to introduce the following new clause:
Persons who by the use of violence, threats or the misuse of authority or the power of economic independence, seek to influence a citizen of full age to register his nationality or the nationality of his children otherwise than according to his own desire, will be liable to imprisonment for a maximum period of six months.
