The two-day European-North African conference for aid to Israel attended by 300 delegates from 17 countries closed here in the early hours of the morning following the adoption of a program designed to broaden the base of the Keren Hayesod, fund-raising arm of the Zionist movement, in the communities.
Additionally, the conference thanked the Government of France for the support it had given Israel in its “critical hour.” Conference delegates were received today by Foreign Minister Christian Pineau and a representative delegation will be given an audience tomorrow by President Rene Coty.
