Far-left Jewish groups are opposing Daniel Pipes’ nomination for the U.S. Institute for Peace. Jews for Peace in Palestine and Israel and several other small Jewish groups have called on President Bush to withdraw Pipes’ nomination, saying he has “repeatedly demonstrated hostility toward Arabs and toward Islam as a religion.”
