The police authorities were puzzled today over the discovery of a cannon bomb in a Jewish house on Torrombach Street in the Jewish section of the city.
The bomb was neatly packed in paper and placed in the entrance of the house. It was found that if jarred or stepped upon a tremendous explosion would have occurred causing much damage and possible loss of life. An investigation was started into the origin of the bomb and as to how it was placed in the house.
