A Finnish-Israel Association was formed in Helsinki yesterday, it was reported here today. The group includes former Finnish Prime Minister Fagerholm and the current Speaker of the Finnish Parliament. Some 150 persons attended the inaugural meeting of the group, which has as its purpose the promotion of cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
